Venchi, a story that began more than 145 years ago
146 years: this is the age of Venchi, carried beautifully thanks to its ability to adapt to the times and expand its reach, without remaining confined to the region where it was born, Piedmont.
It was right there, in fact, in a Turin apartment, that twenty-year-old Silvano Venchi brought the tradition of this renowned Italian chocolate shop to life. Experiment after experiment, moving production from his home to a location on Via degli Artisti, Silvano created the first of many chocolate sweets to become famous: Nougatine, made with Piedmont hazelnuts, caramelized sugar, and dark chocolate.
In a short time, the Venchi brand became an official supplier to the Royal Family, even displaying the royal coat of arms on its packaging, and continuously expanded its production to include gianduiotti, truffles, and cremini, alongside the unsurpassed Suprema cream.

The story of Venchi is one of success driven by the quality of Made in Italy products that have managed to gain appreciation worldwide. Starting from a small shop opened by Silvano in the Vanchiglia area of Turin, the company has grown to own more than 180 chocolate and gelato shops distributed across over 70 countries.
